   I needed a shorter starter to fit the shooting bag for my .62 jaeger flinter. This it perfectly.

   Bought Antler short starter with brass rod. Very well made the brass rod is pinned to handle. I got a 2nd one as a cleaning rod for my Remington.

3. Antler Handle Short Starter

   I replaced my broken short starter. The wood leg broke last summer. I saw these Antler Handled starters with the brass leg for what I'm sure will be very durable. I also like the Antler handle since it will be less likely to fall through the strap on my possibles bag.
