Product Description

Probably the most significant development for muzzleloaders since the percussion cap. The kit consists of a nipple with a neoprene "O" ring already installed, the Cap Cover (machined from solid brass stock), a leather thong to secure the Cover to the rifle, and complete installation instructions.  Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

This is the greatest accessory I’ve ever seen for safety and foul weather muzzleloader shooting or hunting
They work well on T/C Hawkin and Lyman pistol

Very well made product, not only keeps the cap from getting wet on rainy or snowy days, but adds another layer of safety by letting the hammer down on top of the nipple cover in addition to the half cock on the hammer. Can highly recommend this product.

I hunt in early season when rain is a definite possibility and this nipple cover with the "o" ring design is what I needed. It has a tight fit and keeps moisture out. If you hunt in rainy or snowy seasons this is the product for you. I highly recommend this product.

Works perfectly in bad weather. A must for late season hunting.

These keep water out and are a safety for a sidelock muzzleloader. I have used them on two damp elk hunts and they work.
