October Country began in 1977 with a single handcrafted shooting bag. By 1984, the business had moved to North Idaho — carrying little more than cow horns, leather, a few tools, and two sewing machines we still use today.
From humble beginnings to a 2,500 sq. ft. shop, we now offer a full line of original pouches and powder horns — made with traditional craftsmanship and a deep respect for history.
