Description
Bear Grease is an all natural patch lube designed especially for the rigors of cold weather hunting. No more "punched through" frozen patches. The exclusive blend of bear grease and beeswax, plus other natural ingredients, makes this an ideal lube for traditional shooters and re-enactors, too. Comes in a 4 oz. container. Please check your states regulations regarding purchasing and receiving this item. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Recommend by my black power group
I was advised to never use petroleum products on a black power weapon. Historically rendered bear fat was used, and this produced was advised for use in preserving the metal (it also makes the stock look pretty). Especially useful for inside the barrel after cleaning. Run a dry patch through it before using.

Looks good and smells ok. Have not used it yet. Been sitting in garage here in Southern California. Temps have been over 100 and it has not melted yet

This is one of the best products I have found for patch lube and final patch down the barrel before puting the rifle up for the day. Won,t turn too soft ti hot weather.

Love Me Some Bumbling Bear Grease
Tried Bumbling Bear Grease for the first time and love it. Clean, easy load. Makes it easy to make my own pre-lubed patches.

Bear Grease
Its the best before I started using it sometimes my first shot would not go off i would have to remove nipple and put some powder in to get it to fire once I started using bear grease that never happened again, very pleased with it now that all i use on my muzzle loader

Works for Cap and Ball revolvers
I wanted a lubricant for covering the chambers of cap and ball revolvers that did not melt in hot weather. So far, at least in 70 degree temps, this lubricant appears to work. I am anxious to try it in hotter weather, and I think it will be fine.

No miss or hang fires
I have been using the bear grease for the last 5 or 6 years. Before starting I had always used gun oil to coat my barrel after cleaning and always had trouble with miss fires. Since using the bear grease I have not ever had my gun not go off

Go-to patch lube
I switched to this lube over a year ago and now I plan to use this exclusively from now on. It's been great for controlling fouling during a day at the range. No swabbing between shots is necessary.
