These fire starting strikers are hand forged from 1095 carbon steel and professionally heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 51 which tempers them to throw showers of sparks for fast easy fire starting. Fits into a small tin. Available in four different styles. The "U", "C", "D" and the "Lewis & Clark" style. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Works well.
I got the Lewis and Clark shape since I like the style of it. It's not as easy to hold as the simple C shape, but it's not a problem. It seemed to throw sparks nicely from my flint.

Love it, have large hands and it fits over my knuckles perfectly, keeps me from getting cut up on the flint.
