Description
Our new pan primer is constructed from side leather and measures 4” tall by 2 1/4” wide. It has a 3 grain priming valve and holes on each side to attach the provided leather shoe lace to wear around your neck. Now the valve screws out for easier filling of the flask threw a lager hole. This small flask fits nicely in your bag and is a mini version of our 501 leather ball flask. Made from Mule leather. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

excellent priming flask
This powder flask is easy to use, especially when shooting from the bag. It primes with enough powder with one press so even in low light it works well.

Great primer powder flask for flintlocks
I really like this hard leather black powder priming flask. It looks like a miniature version of a hard leather ball flask I use on rendezvous trail shoots. It dispenses an adequate amount of powder in the pan without the need for two or three presses of the valve. The wide body of the primer makes it very easy to handle and the holes on both sides near the top of the flask allow for a thin neck strap to be attached.

These ramrods are great at the range and on the rendezvous rifle trail.
I think these ramrods are great because of both their appearance and their construction. I carry one in a leather sword-like scabbard I had made for use on squirrel trails at rendezvous. I use a 32 cal rifle on those trails and I don’t trust the strength of the thin wooden ramrods that are fitted on those rifles. The antler grip fits in with the period looking accoutrements seen at these kinds of activities and is very comfortable. The rod is made of brass which will not damage the bore and each one includes a muzzle protector.

Not a flinter? Buy it anyway!
This charger is functional and will look perfect hanging from your possibles bag. I bought one for my flinter buddy and one for my percussion rifles. I teach traditional muzzle loading to a group twice a year and newbies will eventually load patch & ball without powder. Remove the nipple, use this charger with 4f to fill the fire channel, reinsert nipple, add cap and pop the ball out! You guys at October Country nailed it on this flask!
