Product Description
The Pushing Daisies Patches are the newest innovation in muzzleloading, as you can see they are very different from all other patch designs. The concept of the Pushing Daisies Patch is force the material to fold above the ball rather than along the side, which causes uneven pressure against the rifling and lans. The new design results in a better fitting ball, easy loading and more consistent accuracy.
October Country lubed Pushing Daisies Patches in two thicknesses. The .015 are red ticking and.018 are blue ticking. We lube the patches with our Bumblin Bear grease. Come in package of 100.
Small items and orders are shipped through the Post Office are sent in a flat rate box or in a first class padded envelope for $3.00 to $12.50. Postage fees may vary due to destination, insurance and excess weight. The $14.00 at check out is a standard and WILL NOT be the shipping charge. It will be adjusted depending on the order and size of flat rate box we use!

Game changer!

These are definitely game changers! They allow a quick visual que to aligning the ball and patch to the barrel for a uniform load time after time as well as no bunching - which you usually get from traditional round patches. My shots definitely tightened up. I do wish they would come in a slightly thicker patch for .62 caliber for .6 balls - something like .024-.026". But overall, my .54 and .50 rifles love these!

I don't really know how much I can say about these patches except I use them all the time. They are inexpensive and do the job. The .015's are perfect with .490 round balls in my .50 caliber flintlock rifles.

I have been using these patches since the beginning of the summer in my 45 cal, 50 cal, and now a new 54 cal. These work great. Currently I am using Old Ensford powder and fouling is not an issue. I back them up with leather over the powder patch available here at October country.

Just tried the "pushing daisy" lubed patches and found them to actually increase the accuracy of my two flintlock rifles (.45 caliber and a .50), plus they are easier to load! These have ruined me from using regular patches! Now if you would just make them for larger calibers like .62 and even .69 I can try them in my big bore stuff!

I used the .40-.49 patch in my 40 flintlock. 42” barrel. I’m using the .015 patch and a .389 cast ball. Excellent results. Easy loading.

Bought 2 packs of OC's lubed daisy patches for my .54 cal. Hawken rifle because I was having trouble with poor groups while using my old patches. Immediately had better grouping and with some tweaking with different powder charges was very impressed with the results.

I have used 400 of these patches in my flint lock rifle with better accuracy and ease of loading than ever before. The rifle has a Greenmountain barrel.
