Description
Our sabot jags make an exact fit for all kinds of bullets, Great Plains, Buffalo, Maxi Ball, Maxi Hunter and sabot bullets, too. Made from solid brass and features a steel threaded stud to prevent breakage. The jag features a spherically cupped end which allows you to load without harming the ball. The base has been knurled for a better grip on the cleaning patch and for when your fingers can not get a grip from oil or cleaning solvents. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Sabot jag works well with round balls
I've tested the jag with sabots and mini balls. It seems to fit well. I mostly shoot round balls at the range and the jags does a fine job with those.

It all starts with the jag and ball starter
I typically shoot only round ball in my .62 caliber rifled Transitional and in my .54 caliber early Virginia flintlocks. However, I cast some .54 caliber LEE REAL bullets and use this jag for both cleaning and bullet seating. These work fantastic! Thank you! RY

Works great and looks awesome
Matches my new Delrin rod perfectly. It is a little big on the bore size for the cleaning patches I use, but it works great!
