Cast round balls
Well cast and minimal sprue. Very hard and shoot well.

No Sprue Stem - Excellent!
I really like these round balls - there is no sprue to effect the spin of the ball. True, there is a faint cutoff spot, but this is far preferable to the actual sprue being out there, going down the barrel, coming out the barrel, and in flight. Much better than other dealers that don't have this "no sprue" feature. Thanks.

Great (and round) lead balls.
Very well made and — no obvious flat sprues. I have a Belgian made reproduction of a 1777 Charleville. It should be .69 caliber, but is actually closer to .67 cal. I make paper cartridges in much the same way as the French did, and I have found that the .62 caliber lead balls from October Country MEET THAT NEED PERFECTLY. As long as October Country offers these musket balls, I will be buying them!

Oversize
I ordered .715 hoping they would work in my 12 ga. With my calipers they were all oversize (.718 or more) and just a wee bit too large.

Well made
I bought the .62 round balls for my .69 cal (actually .67 cal) Charleville Model 1777 flintlock musket. I shoot paper cartridges like they did in the armies in the 18 century, and I like the size of the round ball to be just a little smaller. I especially like the lack of a pronounced flat spot on the ball, unlike some other vendors.

Perfect cast
I was very pleased with my purchase the balls are all uniform and there's no cast marks, I having shot them yet but I'm sure they'll perform better then my home cast balls. Fast shipping. Thank you.

Excellent Quality
I purchased the .610 diameter size to use in a Pedersoli Howdah Hunter 20 x 20 gauge pistol. Prompt and courteous service.

Cheap and they work!
Used the .440 in my Jukar Kentucky rifle, 3 holes touching at 50 yards. Can't get better than that for 12$.

Happy with purchase
Advertised as .735 for .75 caliber, micrometer reads .735 on the money very pleased. Used one to take a fiftyfive gallon barrel at 200 yards, first shot right on! Planning to use this deer season, might get lucky.
