Small Surprises
Ordered this bag for my son and unbeknownst to me, my wife did the same for me. First surprise was that the bag was a dark brown and not natural as the picture indicated. This was a pleasant surprise as I prefer the dark brown. Unfortunately, on my son's bag, the artificial sinew used to secure the spout to the leather was dry and unwinding. I easily removed and re-wrapped and all is now well. Using for .45 and .50 cal ball. As stated in other threads, functions better no more than 1/2 full, but give that weight, I wouldn't want more than on board myself anyway.

Good value
Dispenses 54 cal balls fine. The thong for the stopper was not attached to the bag. Easily fixed with a drop of glue since there was a space in the sinew winding for the thong to be inserted.
