Deer Skin Wooden Neck Ball Bag

Stopper cord was attached to the neck with the sinew that attached the bag. One small tug and the stopper cord came out. A small knot in the end of the cord would have solved the problem at construction. I rewrapped the heck with sinew and a knot in the cord, problem solved. Wooden neck and stopper were left rough and untreated. I lightly sanded the stopper and hole and coated both with gunstock wax to keep them from swelling in the wet NW weather where I live. Overall, a decent product but now it's a great one.

The deer leather is very soft. I got the black one and am very happy with it. I placed 10 .50 balls in the bag and it will deliver one ball at a time.

I often buy pieces to use as a prototype/pattern to make my own version. I don't make and sell anything, I just like to have my own version of a thing, whatever that thing is. But in this case, I can't improve this product. In this case, I am using it. It is very well made.
