  4. Why did I wait so long? 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Mar 2015

Really- why DID I wait so long to purchase one of these straps? Having purchased generic powder horns in the past I have often groused about the tendency to include a cheap, shoddy leather "shoelace" as a carrying strap instead of a real strap.
This is a real strap! Wide, comfortable, and made of quality leather. I bought the double strap; it has two sets of lacings to attach a pair of horns to it (Powder and Primer) the lacings are long enough and wide enough that you can slit them and make a cinch strap if you want, or seize them or just tie them off to the horn, with plenty of adjustment length.
It really makes an attractive accessory for your powder horns.
