Description
The Freetrapper shooting bag is one of our most popular and top selling bags. It is a period correct "poor man's" bag. The bag is a full 7" x 9" with 1 1/4" gussets and a 1 1/4" lace adjustable strap. It has a square pocket with two loops inside for a measure and short starter or pan charger. The bag comes in 2 colors. Dark brown or distressed for that "worn in" look. An overlooked feature is that the front piece is cut from the natural raw edge of the leather. This bag is built to last with sturdy construction. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Beyond expectations
Quality of bag was impressive. Leather was great. The strap is just as nice as the bag. I would definitely recommend it.

My first bag
I wanted a bag that wasn't too big as my first bag so I got the October County Freetrapper bag. I'm very happy with this bag it's roomy without being overly large. But also has a little extras like loops inside and out and a nice pocket.

excellent shooting bag
Nicely constructed bag, large enough to hold everything needed for my percussion rifles and shotguns but not so large as to become overcrowded with unnecessary items. overall a high quality item, very pleased with this purchase.

Nice leather.
Distressed look is well done. Leather is thick, yet flexible. Very good bag.

Best bag for the money
Very well made. Lifetime of carry ahead. Incredible value compared with others I've looked at. Not fancy, just authentic Mountain Man gear.
