The Freetrapper shooting bag is one of our most popular and top selling bags. It is a period correct "poor man's" bag. The bag is a full 7" x 9" with 1 1/4" gussets and a 1 1/4" lace adjustable strap. It has a square pocket with two loops inside for a measure and short starter or pan charger. The bag comes in 4 colors. Dark brown or distressed for that broke in to look. An overlooked feature is that the front piece is cut from the natural raw edge of the leather. This bag is built to last with sturdy construction. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Very well made. Lifetime of carry ahead. Incredible value compared with others I've looked at. Not fancy, just authentic Mountain Man gear.

This bag is very well made, and the leather is soft so the flap lifts easy, and hangs perfectly when closed. This medium size is perfect for me, holding all my gear, but no larger than needed.

Just got this bag yesterday, and have worn it in the field today. Well constructed and no-nonsense design. Just large enough to carry all my percussion cap rifle's needs, but not too big to be cumbersone when moving. Very soft leather and the flap stays put. Nice inner pocket for easily selecting caps, balls and patches for the next shot without looking down. Love it!
