Description
Made of oil tan leather and sewn with heavy duty leather for strength and durability. This item is necessary for re-enactment events and great safety for the flintlocks. Lock cover comes with a thong to tie onto the gun. Approximate internal dimensions: Medium 1 1/4" wide by 1 3/4" length / Large 1 1/4" wide by 2 1/4" length. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Bought for my Traditions Blunderbuss Medium fits Perfectly nice thick leather should last a very long time.

Nicely made but the wrong shape
The frizzen cover was not properly shaped to fit next to the barrel.

While well made its a little large for my T/C Hawkin or Lyman GPR though it works. Sized more for musket locks.

Perfect fit for Charleville
The frizzen cover is made of good leather, nicely stitched. The soft lace knotted well. Large size was a perfect for the 1766 Charleville.

Quality item
This frizzen cover is well made, and durable. It turned out to be too large for my application, but that was my fault because I took the chance it would work for my rifle.
