Description
Our most period correct late 1700's shooting bag. This possible bag has two 8" x 7" compartments. The beavertail flap is a classic early Eastern style design. The two compartments each have a half gusset 1 1/4" wide. A small pocket is sewn into the inner back compartment. The 1 1/4" strap is adjustable with a brass buckle. The bag comes in two colors. Dark brown and Distressed for that "worn in" look. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Longhunter Bag
This bag is perfect. I love the double pouch design. I've tried making my own like this in the past but was never happy with my results. I have several purchases from October Country in the past. Their powder horns, bags and range rods are the best. I will buy again.,

Very well made and well designed
This is a very well made and well designed bag. I appreciate that OC offers it with a strap setup for left handed use. I have been using it in woods walks where the dual-pouch design is helpful. I keep tools, etc. in the rear pouch, and a tin with patches and loose balls in the front pouch for easy access. If I could make one change it would be to have a holder for a short starter sewn to the shoulder strap, but I was able to add one myself.
