Very nice product looks very nice only bad thing is you have to carve the ramrod end down quite a bit to fit it own which does thin the ramrod out quite a bit and if you drill it to put a pin in it makes it even thinner. My first one I drilled and pinned and it and it ended up breaking off so the next time I epoxied it on without drilling so for so good

Perhaps I was naive in thinking that these tips would simply slip onto a 3/8" diameter rod WRONG! The I.D. of the tips is approx. 1/4 in so my rod diameter will need to be reduced somehow in order for the tips to fit. Did I order the wrong size? Was there a shipping error?Additional dimensional info beyond the tip thread options in the description would have been really useful especially since I don't have a lathe!

Initially purchased these ram rod tip to finish my cannon project. It by selecting two different calibers. One in the .50 and the other, a heavier version in a.69 caliber. Ended up making two separate sets, each being a cannon ball setter and the other a patch puller, with the option to use other jags. The quality of the brass used on these tips was excellent. They cleaned and polished quite nicely. Great compliments to the display of these historical cannons. The Glory of Old Iron Sights, 1779.

Have not used tips to make utility ramrods as yet, but these will work perfectly. Good quality, accurate sizing. Just what I was looking for.

I have installed these ramrod tips, and they fit perfectly. I was concerned about the very small pin, but putting it in was easy.

The ends I received were mismatched. While the accessory end was the proper size 1/4”, the cleaning jag was 5/16” and was too large for the rod.

Had to shave my new rod just a little for them to fit but other than that they fit fine. Thank You
