Description

This horn was originally made by Harold Moore for Mike Nesbitt a friend and fellow blackpowder shooter.  Mike had a picture of the original horn in the January-February 2013 Muzzleloader Magazine on page 11.  We are making a replica of that horn for your enjoyment.  Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

    Great looking powder horn!

Posted by Kyle on 13th Dec 2024

Mike Nesbitt is my Uncle, so it seemed fitting to order this horn for the muzzleloader I purchased from him last Spring. This horn looks great, and I'm really happy with the darker color mine came in. Worth every penny!

    A great powder horn

Posted by CalgaryNick on 19th Jun 2017

This is a great powder horn. It has a natural fit with my hand and feels like it was always part of me. It is smooth to the touch and will make anybody proud to be sporting this powder horn. Make sure to buy the extra strong powder horn strap, as my leather shoe lace strap (that came with the horn) broke twice on the same shoot last Saturday afternoon. The horn will carry about 1/2 lb of 3F powder.

    Excellent Carving

The horn is excellent. The carving is as good as the photo, the overall finish is beautiful. A fine horn anyone would be proud to own.
