Most ramrods are 3/8 diameter and since your product description only specifies the thread size it was assumed that the OD would be 3/8. Not so, they are 5/16 ! Why not the same as the ramrod ? This causes the part to catch and have hang-ups during use.

I got a set of these, actually a couple of sets, since there are always multiple sizes of threads on various brushes, jags, patch worms, etc., especially with bore sizes as large as .69. An excellent and useful product, highly recommended.
